Reaction mixed after WTO talks collapse
Norwegian farmers were jubilant on Wednesday. The collapse of talks at the World Trade Organization (WTO) means they get to keep their subsidies and avoid foreign competition. Norwegian consumers, however, are paying a high price to protect their farmers, and industrial and fishing interests are deeply worried. |
