103-year-old Labour Party icon still wields influence
Haakon Lie, who led Norway´s Labour Party during its most powerful post-war period, celebrated his 103rd birthday this week with the release of a new book and plenty of media coverage. He willingly shared his still-sharp views on world affairs and even managed to provoke the US ambassador to Norway. |
